Campbells Chicken Pot Pie Recipe
Fast And Friendly Chicken Pot Pie Recipe
For this fast and easy chicken pot pie recipe you will need the following ingredients:
1 cup of sliced carrots
1 cup of green peas
1/3 cup of butter
1/3 cup of choppen onion
1/3 cup of all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
1/4 teaspoon of celery seed
1 3/4 cups of chicken broth
2/3 cups of milk
2 9-inch pie crusts In order to complete this delicious chicken pot pie recipe you will need to follow these instructions: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. In a saucepan you will need to combine the chicken, carrots and peas. Add water and cover, boil for about 15 minutes. Remove the mixture from the heat and drain, set aside. In the saucepan over medium heat cook the onions in butter until soft. Stir in the flour, salt, pepper an celery seed. Now slowly stir in the chicken, broth and milk and simmer over low heat until thick. Remove from the heat and set aside. Place the mixture in the bottom pie crust, pour the hot liquid mixture over it, cover with the top crust. Seal the edges and cut away any excess dough.
