Easy Hawaiian Chicken

chicken-recipes: Hawaiian Chicken Recipe Here is another simple chicken dish that is a hit in my home. This can be made ahead and frozen to be reheated later.

Easy Hawaiian Chicken

Ingredients:

10 ounces breaded chicken tenders

1 (10 ounce) jar sweet and sour sauce

1 (8 3/4 ounce) can pineapple tidbits

1 (16 ounce) package frozen Oriental Vegetables

Directions:

Prepare the chicken tenders as directed on package (fry in cooking oil in most cases). Take chicken tenders, sweet and sour sauce, pineapple and veggies and place in large skillet. Mix well then cover and simmer about 25 minutes or until the vegetables are nice and tender.

Now you can obviously use fresh veggies and fresh chicken tenders breaded and fried yourself if you choose.

I usually serve this with white rice. Gives the feel of Chinese takeout but made at home.
