Grilled Chicken Salad Recipe

How To Make A Delicious Low Calorie Grilled Chicken Salad

chicken-salad-recipe: Grilled Chicken Salad Recipe chicken is very healthy, tasty and low in calories. This recipe will show you how to make a delicious grilled chicken salad out of ingredients you may already have in your home.

Things You'll Need:

  • Lettuce (bagged or head)
  • 1 pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 large tomato
  • Bacon Bits or similar
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • chicken breast
  • Lite Barbeque Sauce

STEP 1: Marinate a large boneless chicken breast in light barbecue sauce. Jack Daniels sauce works very well. Marinate the piece of chicken at least an hour but keeping it marinated overnight works the best. Keep the marinated chicken in the refrigerator Preheat the oven so the cooking temperature reaches 375 degrees and then place the marinated chicken breast into the preheated oven on a lightly greased baking plate or tin foil. Cook the marinated boneless chicken breast for about 20 minutes until the chicken is no longer pink on inside. Turning it over once.

STEP 2:

While the marinated boneless chicken breast is cooking in the oven, prepare the salad portion of this delicious recipe. Peel a large fresh cucumber and cut it into slices using a sharp cutting knife. Wash and slice a large fresh tomato, onion and pepper as well. Cut the fresh lettuce into small chunks and arrange the lettuce and all of the vegetables onto a large serving plate. Season it with salt and pepper or use whichever seasoning you enjoy the most.

STEP 3:

Take the marinated, boneless grilled chicken breast out of the oven and using a sharp cutting knife, cut the chicken breast into thin strips. Be very careful that you do not burn your hands when taking the chicken breast out of the oven as it will be hot. Place the sliced boneless chicken over the salad that you have prepared and sprinkle a fair amount of bacon bits onto it. Top the whole plate of food off with a few shakes of Balsamic Vinegar. This type of dressing is healthy and contains a low caloric content. You are now done! Enjoy your delicious low calorie grilled chicken salad!
