Easy Asian Style Chicken Wing Recipe

chicken-wings-recipe: Chicken Wings Recipe If you love to cook, and love to try new things and experiment, this is definitely a chicken wing recipe you should try that is fairly easy and doesn't require many ingredients. You do not have to use chicken wings,

For this easy recipe, I start out with my non-stick wok - my favorite piece of metal in my kitchen, other than my butcher knife. You will need about eight chicken wings, cut at the joints and discard the tips. Wash the chicken wings and pat dry. Add oil to your wok, and fry the chicken wings until they appear somewhat golden - the chicken wings do not have to be all the way cooked, because you will be simmering them at the end of this recipe. After the chicken wings appear to be a light yellowish gold color, you will add 2-3 medium size tomatoes, cut into quarters, and about a cup of chopped green onions/scallions. I like to keep my green onions somewhat long, about 1/4 of their normal size for this recipe. It makes it a bit more colorful. Now, you will continue frying the chicken wings along with the tomato and green onions for about 3-4 minutes, stirring here and there.

Now, you will add about 1/2 cup of Oyster Sauce (found in Asian super markets), a dash of MSG (if you like it!), sprinkle chicken bullion powder over the wings, a 1/4 cup of water (make sure it's hot!), a pinch of sugar, salt and pepper, and a tablespoon or two of Fish Sauce to the chicken wings (also found in Asian super markets.) After everything is added to the chicken wings, mix together thoroughly.

Cover the wings and let simmer for about 20-30 minutes. If you like your chicken wings falling off the bone, the longer the better. The aroma is just incredible to these Asian style chicken wings, the taste even
